Busy DAY busy DAY

Three updates in one day!

It's 4:00pm and I'm still at work. It's been crazy here and the legislature hasn't even started rolling the ball yet since they're still dealing with last year's issues. I've had workload up to my neck today. The conference call regarding budget and proposition 98 was interesting. It was my first conference call ever. I still need to type up my notes from the meeting. I couldn't join in on the debate since I am not authorized to give my input unless I had questions. I didn't want to give my organization a bad rep if I opened my mouth, so I stayed quiet. It's better that way. The drama can be saved for Cheetah's mama. My friend isn't feeling too well so they cancelled Happy Hour, but they might come out to Fox and Goose to relax. I really wanted to see Shutter Island today, but apparently Philliam made other plans for us... I've been wanting to see that movie for three months now and he knew it. Today is opening day. I wanted to go. But, because he isn't feeling well either, I decided to play the sympathy card and pretend we didn't make any movie plans for movies. I'm going to suck it up and pretend that I'd rather be at an English Pub rather than be at the movie theatre, watching a movie that I've been anxiously wanting to see for three months now...
