Blogger Helper Richer

I have given my friend Richard access to blog about whatever he feels, whenever he feels. Just thought I'd make that clear. It's been pretty helpful since I've been extremely busy. So thank you Richard, I know you've already mentioned that you're no longer going to blog anymore because I'm crap to you... But thanks anyway! And to my (very few) readers, thanks for making me feel special like a kid who uses round tip scissors. =)

Leatherby's and Late Night Stroll

Last week, Richard decided that we should get ice cream since we're both gluttons with a love for ice cream. We usually hit up Tops Yogurt for their healthy selection in frozen yogurt and toppings, but Richard suggested we visit Leatherby's since I've never tried their homemade goodness. Yes, I know, it's shocking considering my devotion for ice cream. A little info about the joint? Leatherby's is a local Sacramento dessert diner that's family owned since 1984. I've had many recommendations to try their ice cream but never had the chance since I'm never in that particular area. If you want to know more about Leatherby's, this is their site: http://www.leatherbys.com/ Here's a little tangent. Richard has been to Leatherby's since he was a child, but for some odd reason, he text me saying "Letter bees." Here is the response from a person whose never been to that joint, i.e. myself "U mean Leatherby's, stupid." haha! I pick on him too much. And on with the story of ice cream... Because I drove, it only made sense for Richard to treat especially if he was the one who suggested Leatherby's in the first place. Once we got there, Richard and I ordered the Rick's Banana Split (haha, it was made especially for Richard) and Root Beer Float. Our other two friends ordered Strawberry Shortcake drizzled with succulent juicy strawberries. Yumm....

I'm glad we shared because the portions were HUGE! I felt sick afterwards, it was just way too much ice cream. Richard asked me to rate Leatherby's on a scale of 1-10, I gave it an 8 just because their strawberries wasn't fresh. It was one of those frozen strawberries. le sigh... After we finished our dessert, we decided to hit up downtown again so a groupie can take some pictures with her fancy SLR. I just took random pictures with my regular point and shoot. We had a little fun. =) Photobucket
Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket That was how I had spent my Tuesday night. I was a little upset with Richard at the time, which was why on the last blog, Richard mentioned that he was thankful the crazy cat lady didn't leave him stranded in downtown to kick it with Bob, the bum. That's it for now!
